Graduated from the Albertina Academy of Fine Arts in Turin, Italy. Master class in Visual Storytelling in New Media at the International Center of Photography and CAMERA Centro Italiano per la Fotografia.
I work with photography to create documentary projects that focus on the relationship between the human being and the landscape. In my practice I like to observe the results of human creative production, whether it be architectural, manufactured or artistic. I see photography as an encounter between myself and the subjects I am involved with, in a process that seeks to highlight the human relationship that is created through art. I have a background in street photography and reportage, but over the years my visual language has evolved towards documentary photography with a more reflective tone.
Over the years I have developed photography projects in Turkey, Tanzania, India, Kenya and Europe. Recently I started a photography project documenting the backstage of opera houses. The aim of my work is to inspire people to pursue their creative and poetic vein. Whatever that may be.
